What’s good, everybody!? For the season finale of the Dr Pepper Ultimate Gaming House, we wanted to do something big, something that would affect more than just one individual. So, when I received the submission video from the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity at Penn State I knew we had our next winner. So I started the long process of organizing the shoot, rallied the crew and went off to Penn State for the first time ever. If you’ve ever been curious to see what a Big 10 campus and fraternity house is like, then you’ll definitely want to see this episode.

The Dr Pepper Ultimate Gaming House crew this time around was once again different, but one of the best and the most fun to hang out with! It ended up being Jon, Lenox, Dr Pepper girls Natalie & Jess, and me. I have nothing but love for everyone that is involved in the Dr Pepper Ultimate Gaming House. There’s a great chemistry that is always created when a group of people come together to do something selfless for someone else,  and you’ll be able to see that in this latest episode.

The main representative of the fraternity, Kyle Cuba, goes by the nickname “Hawaii.” He was a super awesome dude to hang out with and was also very appreciative, always thanking us and telling us how much it meant to him and his fraternity brothers to win. This is always reassuring because it’s nice to know that we selected a winner that is truly appreciative.

The Penn State Creamery – In every episode, we take the winner out to do something while their room is being made over. When I was looking into things in the area I found out about the Penn State Creamery. It’s world famous and is the largest creamery in the nation! And if you didn’t know, I’m a HUGE ice cream fan, so when I saw this there was no way we weren’t going to go check it out. It definitely lived up to the hype but I still need at least ten more days there to sample all the flavors and awesomeness that they have to offer.

The catered meal – Massive amounts of Dr Pepper and pulled pork sandwiches, anyone!? Since in order to organize this shoot I had to tell Hawaii what was going on, I hadn’t gotten a chance to surprise him – yet. So I setup a surprise party for him. I figured that he and his brothers could use a nice catered meal, so that’s exactly what I did. His reaction to it was great; you’ll definitely want to see it.

The prizing – I can’t spoil anything yet but, woooooo! I’ll have to do a followup blog to give you a breakdown of all the research I did to make sure we hooked them up with the ultimate setup.  There is no other room like it on any college campus.

Overall it was a great experience, and I’m pumped to share it with you guys. Act 1 will be launching in the Providence live broadcast,  so be sure to look out for it. Until then I’ll be heading out to Brooklyn to work with the editor to finish up Acts 2 & 3. For those of you going to the MLG National Championships in Providence, I CAN’T WAIT and I’ll see you there!! To keep up with what I’m doing, follow me on Twitter – @MLGShibby. I hope you guys dig the season finale of the Dr Pepper Ultimate Gaming House, much love!!
