A force in the league since 2004, Cpt Anarchy established himself as a solid free-for-all competitor. Currently ranked Top 10 in FFA, Anarchy stands as a constant threat to the opposition, and is a consistent contender to reach the final rounds of competition. While his career in team play opened somewhat humbly, he developed his play and landed spots on prominent teams during the 2005 season. Cpt Anarchy’s transfer to high-profile Str8 Rippin is a testament to his progression in team play.
At the heart of his game is a punk rock spirit. Cpt Anarchy’s dynamic personality ignites his highly aggressive gameplay. Demonstrating confidence in the face of all opposition, he serves as a natural-born motivator to his teammates. Cpt Anarchy is fueled by bold smack talk, which he loves to use to rally the crowd behind his team. Str8 Rippin acquired Anarchy for his versatility and dedication, seeing immediate results as his solid performance helped the team rebound from a 7th place Chicago finish.
Team: Str8 Rippin
Career Highlights: Placing 2nd place with Str8 Rippin (formerly TmG) at MLG Anaheim in the 2005 Season.
Likes: Ultimate Frisbee, skater/surfer girls, girls!, going to the movies, Panda Express, Wendy’s Salads, Chicken Carbonara at Quiznos, Chillin’ with my friends, Oi punk, 80′s punk, early 90′s punk, punk!, underground rap that isn’t on TV, my iPod, movies, swimming, my computer, jogging, and making fun of people.
Dislikes: When people spell my name ‘Captain’ or ‘Capt’ Anarchy. It’s ‘Cpt Anarchy’!. Cocky halo players, ignorant kids that are not good at Halo, technical fouls, long plane flights, Sunday nights after an event if I am really tired, pop punk, Xbox Live, Xbox Live noobs that have amazing connections but suck on LAN, rap–its terrible; listen to the lyrics sometime, emo and scene kids are the worst!
Origin of Handle: The name ‘Cpt Anarchy’ came from the band Anti-Flag. There’s this song called “Captain Anarchy” and it was catchy so I used it as my Halo name. I used to like them a lot, but not anymore since their new stuff is just bad. Now it’s all about Underground Network, Die for the Government, and A New Kind of Army. I always wanted my name to come from a punk band that I liked, so this was the closest I got.
First Competitive Gaming Memory: MLG LA 2005 season, being on a top team and almost beating Final Boss (then known as Team 3D) after a 10-game series. I remember being so nervous substituting for Zyos on Str8 Rippin. Once I got into my game I had a blast and had the sickest TS Sanctuary Snipes game ever!
