This city never sleeps, and neither will anyone who has earned the right to compete in the Boost Mobile 2006 MLG National Championships. They will be far too hard at work practicing for what will surely be the biggest landmark yet in pro gaming. When MLG stopped in Las Vegas during the 2005 Season tour, we knew immediately that this city would be the perfect setting for the 2006 National Championships, as it can provide a level of presentation and class that is unmatched almost anywhere else in the world. Sin City will set a dramatic stage as the world’s best face off for an unheard-of $234,000 prize pot and the title of 2006 MLG World Champions. The pros will be ready, the fans will be ecstatic, and the world will be watching. This is one event you will not want to miss.

(All ranks are based on Season Points Totals at the end of each event, not performance at any one tournament)
- The Top 4 ranked Singles Smashers will receive a $400 Travel Stipend and free registration to the next Regular Season event
- The 5th-8th ranked Singles Smashers will receive a $300 Travel Stipend and free registration to the next Regular Season event.
- The 9th-16th ranked Singles Smashers will receive free registration to the next Regular Season event.

Note
- In order to receive a Travel Stipend, the qualified player must register for and compete in the event at which they would receive it.
Travel Stipends are awarded immediately following an event based on the cumulative ranking points of the team you were on at that tournament. If you earn a Travel Stipend based on your team’s performance at an event, you will receive it at the next event regardless of what team you are on. You can not “get a stipend” by joining a high ranked team if you were not on that team at the time they earned their stipends, or had not earned one previously with another team.

- If a player/team loses their status between events, they also lose their stipend.
-In order to be eligible to receive Travel Stipends, the player must be 15 years or older. This is due to issues with child labor laws.
- MLG reserves the right to revoke any player’s entitlement to Pro Player Stipends at any time and for any reason.
