StarCraft II players and fans, please take note: High Yield (Gold) Minerals will be removed from MLG Antiga Shipyard for the Summer Championship Starcraft II Event.
Given the balance provided by Patch 1.4.3, we don’t believe that High Yield Minerals favor any one race significantly. As a result, our decisions on this aspect of Antiga Shipyard have always been based on what we believed to be in the best interest of Players. Although many leagues have already removed High Yield Minerals, we previously chose to include them, in the Spring and Summer Seasons, in order to remain consistent with the Ladder version of the Map.
However, the upcoming MLG Championship in Raleigh will include the World Championship Series North America Finals. Given the fact that WCS Antiga Shipyard doesn’t have High Yield Minerals, we now believe that it is in the best interest of Players for there to be consistency throughout the weekend’s competition.
