Wow, some great news on the handheld news front. First, it has been announced that the Nintendo DS will be a be able to download games via a Wi-Fi source. What does this mean? Another function of the Wi-Fi capabilities is to allow downloads of game trials. You could go to a Nintendo access point at your local GameStop and download trials of games that will soon be released, and the trials simply expire after certain amount of time. Spiff!
Nintendo also confirmed a list of titles available at launch in addition to the current Gameboy Advance games. Super Mario 64 DS, Madden NFL 2005, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, The Urbz: Sims in the City, Ridge Racer DS, PictoChat, and Metroid Prime: Hunters (demo). Titles will launch for $29.99. I just want to know where the Smash is!
