A few weeks ago, we asked you to create a video showing us why you need, want, or deserve a brand new Mad Catz MLG Pro Circuit Controller. We received an overwhelming response and dozens of videos. Some fans took a simple approach, showing us their broken controllers, or explaining their gaming credentials and how this could help them reach the next level. Some people just flat-out begged. Other fans took a more creative approach. We saw old controllers getting smashed with hammers. We even got a cameo from Iron Man.
On Monday, MLG staff picked our Top 3 and let the fans vote to decide the winner. The Top 3 included a comedy sketch about being addicted to Halo, an original song from a struggling Halo player, and one fan who was trying to help submission his friend follow his dream of being a pro gamer. The voting came down to the wire, with the winner taking the lead with four minutes of voting left.
In the end, we are pleased to announce Michael Carlock as the winner of the MLG Mad Catz Controller Contest. Congratulations, Michael! The controller is on its way. Check out the winning video:
