MLG Celebrates Chromecast Launch with Ad Free Weekend During X Games

Major League Gaming (MLG), today released an update to the MLG mobile app that will enable streams to be viewed on Chromecast. Following the success of X Games Aspen, MLG will be celebrating the launch of Chromecast all weekend with ad-free streams of the X Games Austin via the Chromecast app.

Fans can tune-in to watch the action unfold all weekend while chatting alongside the app directly through their smartphone.

In addition to this weekend’s MLG X Games Invitational, be sure to catch all of MLG’s popular programming including the news show “eSports Report,” the world’s best players, teams and leagues and premier competitions. The programming schedule is available at programming available via the MLG app includes:

  • MLG’s eSports Report: showcasing the latest news in competitive gaming.

  • MLG’s Pro League - Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Season 2 Finals at X Games Austin.

  • MLG partner streams including eSports leagues from CEVO and joinDota for Counterstrike and Dota 2, respectively; top Call of Duty players Clayster and Scumpii, premier teams such as OpTic Gaming, EnVyUs, FaZe and much more.
