2.   Teams may register one Coach.  Coaches must be confirmed in Team Builder prior to the start of the Tournament.  After the start of the Tournament, Teams without a confirmed Coach won’t be allowed to add a Coach or compete with a Coach in the Tournament and Teams with a confirmed Coach won’t be allowed to change their Coach or compete with a different Coach in the Tournament.

3.   The Tournament’s Team Builder Lock will take place at 5:00pm PM EDT on Monday, May 29th..

4.   Prior to the Team Builder Lock, Players and Coaches will be allowed to join and leave Teams in Team Builder without restriction.  Also, Team Captains will be allowed to make changes to their Team Name and Roster of Players and Coach in Team Builder without restriction.

5.   After the Team Builder Lock, Players and Coaches must submit requests via Team Builder, or make requests at Check-In, in order to make changes to their Team’s Roster of Players and Coach.  Players and Coaches who are confirmed on a Team will be allowed to move to another Team if both Team Captains and all Players/Coaches who are switching Teams submit their approval of the changes.  After the Team Builder Lock, Players/Coaches can’t be removed from a Team without their approval unless they are deemed to be unable to attend and the change is authorized, at Check-In, by the Commissioner of MLG.

6.   Individuals may not register or compete as both a Player and a Coach in the Tournament.

7.   Players, Coaches, or Teams that break a Team Builder Rule #2 or #6 may Forfeit a Game(s) or Match, be disqualified from the Tournament(s) or be forced to continue shorthanded.  Such Players, Coaches, and Teams may also be subject to a Temporary Ban from MLG’s Network of Websites and/or a Ban from a future Tournament(s).

Post-Team Builder Lock Changes & Impersonation

1.   Teams are responsible for notifying MLG (leagueops@mlg.tv) of any changes to their Roster of Players and Coach that was submitted in Team Builder at the Team Builder Lock.  Notification must be made via email prior to the start of the Tournament or at Check-In’s Roster Changes desk.  Teams that fail to make the proper notification of a change to their Roster of Players that would’ve affected the Team’s Seed may be subject to disqualification from the Tournament.

2.   Players found attempting to use another Player’s MLG Username (Impersonation), may be removed from their Team and/or disqualified from the Tournament.  If a Player, guilty of Impersonation, is removed from a Team prior to the start of a Tournament, the Team may be allowed to add a Player in order to compete in the Tournament with a full Roster of Players.  If a Player, guilty of Impersonation, is removed from a Team after the start of a Tournament, the Team will not be allowed to add a Player.  However, the Team may be permitted to continue to compete in the Tournament shorthanded.

3.   If a registered Player(s) fails to attend their Team's first Match, the Players who are present may request that they be allowed to permanently replace the Player(s) before they are forced to Forfeit a Game/Match.  Players who fail to attend their Team's first Match and are replaced will be considered as having consented to their removal from the Team.  If more than two Players fail to attend their Team's first Match, the Team will Forfeit the Match.

4.   Teams may not make a Roster change in order to add or remove a Player or Coach if the Team has already participated in at least one Match in the Tournament.

5.   If an individual is found attempting to play in place of an absent Player who is registered on the Team, the Team will be disqualified from the Tournament.  Individuals who are registered as a Team’s Coach may not play in place of an absent Player.

6.   Players, Coaches, and Teams that are disqualified from the Tournament may also be subject to a Temporary Ban from MLG’s Network of Websites, stripped of any benefits (Prize, Pro Points, etc.) earned in the Tournament, and/or given a Ban from a future Tournament(s).  The teammates of penalized individuals may be subject to the same penalties.
