2.   Players who purchase a Starcraft 2, Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur V, or King of Fighters XIII Player Pass will be automatically entered into their Event.

3.   League of Legends Teams may have one Coach.  Coaches will not be allowed in any other Events.  Coaches must be confirmed in Team Builder prior to the start of the League of Legends Event.  After the start of that Event, Teams without a confirmed Coach won’t be allowed to add a Coach or compete with a Coach in the Event and Teams with a confirmed Coach won’t be allowed to change their Coach or compete with a different Coach in the Event.

Spring SCII Arena 1, April 20-22: NYC

General Format

1.   The Event will support as many as 8 Players.
2.   Players finishing 1st-4th will be invited to participate in Spring Arena #2 and Spring Championship Pool Play.
3.   Players finishing 5th-8th will be invited to participate in the Spring Invite-Only Online Qualifier of their choice.
4.   The Event will consist of Round Robin play and a Single Elimination Bracket.

Match Format
1.   All Round Robin Matches will consist of 3 Games, even if one Player wins the first 2 Games.
2.   All Single Elimination Bracket Matches will be Best of 5 Games, except for the Finals, which will be Best of 7 Games.
3.   The “Extended Series” rule will not be used to link Round Robin Matches and Bracket Matches.

Round Robin Format
1.   Players will play one Match against each of the other Players.
2.   Round Robin Ranking (1st-8th) will be determined using each Player’s Record of Matches won and lost.  Ties will be broken using the following Tiebreakers in this order: Head to Head Match Winning Percentage (Matches Won vs. Tied Players / Matches Played vs. Tied Players), Head to Head Games Winning Percentage (Games Won vs. Tied Players / Games Played vs. Tied Players), and Round Robin Games Winning Percentage (Round Robin Games Won / Round Robin Games Played).  If there is a tie involving more than two Players and one of the Tiebreakers resolves the tie for a Player(s), but leaves at least two Players tied, resolution of the tie that still exists will start over with Head to Head Match Winning Percentage.  The higher number will win all Tiebreakers.
3.   For ties that can’t be broken by the aforementioned Tiebreakers, Round Robin Seed will be used to rank the Tied Players for a One Game Playoff Ladder.  The lowest ranked Tied Player will play the next highest ranked Tied Player in one Game.  The loser of the Game will receive the lowest placement, in the Round Robin Standings, available to the Tied Players and the winner of the Game will move on to play the next highest ranked Tied Player in one Game.  This process will repeat until only two Tied Players remain.  When only two tied Players remain, the winner of their Game will receive the highest placement, in the Round Robin Standings, available to the Tied Players.
4.   The Players finishing 1st-2nd in the Round Robin Standings will be placed in the Semifinals of the Single Elimination Bracket.  The Players finishing 3rd-6th in the Round Robin Standings will be placed in Round 1 of the Single Elimination Bracket.  The Players finishing 7th-8th in the Round Robin Standings will be eliminated from the Event.

Bracket Format
1.   After losing a Match in the Bracket, Players will be eliminated from the Event.
2.   The Round 1 Matchups will be set by the Player who finished 3rd in the Round Robin Standings.  That Player must choose to play the Player who finished 5th or the Player who finished 6th in the Round Robin Standings.  The Player who finished 4th’s Round 1 opponent will be the 5th/6th Player who wasn’t chosen.  The Player who finished 3rd in the Round Robin Standings must make their opponent choice, on Saturday night, within 5 minutes of being presented with their options.
3.   The Semifinal Matchups will be set by the Player who finished 1st in the Round Robin Standings.  That Player must choose to play one of the Players who won their Round 1 Match and whether their Match will be the 1st or 2nd Semifinal Match.  The In the Semifinals, the Player who finished 2nd in the Round Robin Standings will play the Round 1 winner who wasn’t chosen.  The Player who finished 1st in the Round Robin Standings must make their choices within 5 minutes of the conclusion of Round 1.

Seeding
1.   Players will be seeded for Round Robin play based on the following criteria in this order: Winter Championship Standings and Winter Arena Standings.  If Winter Championship or Winter Arena Consolation Matches were played, they may be used to break ties.  Ties may also be broken using the next available criterion or randomly.
